The People's Kitchen connects people to resources that already exist, advocates for better implementation of existing resources, and creates resources to be distributed via direct outreach.
We exist to serve all who need it. This includes our unhoused neighbors, working people, and all those separated from what they need.
Why?
We were founded to fill the gaps left by the current "support" available to those in need.
Spoiler alert — This system benefits from its people being in need. There is no incentive to change. We envision that The People's Kitchen ceases to exist because the oppressive system no longer keeps its people needing. But until that day comes, we'll be here fighting.
